After Janie Hunter's work as a filmmaker comes to an abrupt end, she gets reacquainted with her ex-husband Chandler Bing while working at Central Perk. She becomes best friends with Chandler's roommate Joey Tribbani who one day asks her to work with him on a film staring Robert Pattinson. This leads to Janie not only having the adventure of a lifetime but also the gang finding their new best friend...a rather unusual Englishman.
