Introduction

Elina has been waiting to be Queen for the past eighteen years. She was groomed to perfection in etiquette, language, and diplomacy. On the day of her coronation her life falls apart. She accepts and her life turns from ballgowns, dances, and servants to swords, lashes, and tents. She trains under the Captain of the camp, Griffin. At first the two hate each other with a passion, as she learns their ways, their feelings for each other change. While she's training her enemies are rising even stronger, can she become the warrior Queen needed to win back her nation. Or will she always be a Queen with no crown.
