Ja'Quan Smith and Conor O'Donnell couldn't be any more different, Ja'Quan was born and raised in Africa and all his roots are African, he has beautiful jet black skin, whereas Conor was born and raised in Ireland and as far as he knows he is a full Irish with snow White skin, but both boys have a secret, a secret that was frowned upon by their families but the rest of the world thinks their secret is beautiful, this secret is that they both have a skin disease, Ja'Quan has Vitiligo a condition in which the pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing whitish patches, often with no clear cause, whereas Conor has Addison's Disease a disorder that occurs when the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones one of the causes is darkening of the skin. Both Ja'Quan hate their skin because they grew up in places where whites are not welcome (Ja'Quan's home) and where blacks are not welcome (Conor's home) neither one of them believe in racism and segregation, but they just hate being different from the others... So naturally they hide their skin under sweaters and even makeup. What happens when these two boys cross paths? Will they teach each other to live a normal life despite their skin? Or will they just act like this is not happening and always hate themselves? Is there a chance that they can fall in love and possibly have a child? The self hate Ja'Quan and Conor feel about themselves is due to the fact their parents are prejudice against the opposite race and they are also homophobic so naturally their relationship and conditions are not accepted by their families.
