Aurora Gardner lives with her family in the village. Her father working as a blacksmith and her mother working as a gardener.

"Look," father hands me a sheet of paper with letters on it. "The prince is looking for a queen.." I swallowed the lump forming in my throat. "Be ready by sunset. You shall be clean." He walks out to his shop and leaves mother and I at the table.

"Please Aurora.. for the sake of us. We can barley afford enough food.." I glanced at her fragile hands and see how skinny she is getting.

"I'll try."

The prince is rough and evil at times. Known as the most dangerous knight throughout the land.
