Have you ever wondered what happened to your first true love, that one person who shaped your heart and showed you how to love? The Long Engagement is my debut novel about college sweethearts who lose each other on two different continents and reunite 24 years later. It tells their sometimes messy stories of difficult marriages, questionable relationships, divorce, and the trials of parenthood. It's a story of choices and regrets, and how people all too often live their lives trying to please others instead of following their own hearts.
