Maxie Crystal is a 16 year old girl who loves to surf. She has her 3 best friends that she would do anything for, and her 2 parents who love her most. She is happy with her life- until her parents decide it would be good for her to leave good ol' Hawaii and stay with her cousin in the all too famous Hollywood LA. It's only for the summer but leaving will be the hardest thing she's ever done. New faces, and new places, it's Maxie's high tide.
