Description
I'm pretty lucky to go to a school that is cautious about the virus that's spreading. Me and several of my friends have a class with someone that got the virus, so we were all sent home to quarantine. One of the friends that were sent home just got it. But is everyone lucky enough to get a school that cares? What about a school that doesn't care? Would there students there do something about it? Would you do something about it? Well this student would. When they get fed up with a school that's either too lazy or just doesn't care enough to be safe, this student organizes their friends and classmates to make a difference. But they have a stubborn school. So, they're hoping that one day the world will hear their story and support them. This is my second entry for the sidehustle writing contest. I was inspired to write this when I learned that one of my friends had Coronavirus. Our school had sent them home because they had been near someone with the virus, so that if they got it, it wouldn't spread more. Because they did get it and were sent home before, the school prevented even more students from getting it. I go to a school that cares about safety, but I know that the people in charge aren't the only ones that care about safety. And sometimes it's only the students that care, like in my story.
