Heather Thurston made good grades, had a boyfriend, and her biggest goal at the moment was to get into the college of her choice. She didn't want anything to change things but sometimes, you can't have control over that.
Christopher Anderson had never been the best kid: a drop-out who had no plans for the future at all. He didn't want anything more than he already had and that was never much.
