Prologue

Margaret Allie Brandon. A 17-year-old girl stuck living with an abusive guardian since her mother died in a car crash. A girl that can't even seem to remember a time she didn't have at least one bruise from her guardian. She meets Jasper Cullen.

The girl with black curls and blue eyes, with blood that seemed to scream to him for help rather than seem like a meal. It was this girl which started to give him hope.
