Chapter 1

A man is found dead in one of the biggest parks in New York, his fingers burnt and teeth removed. Mobsters and Drug lords with no shortage of alibis. A flesh eating drug. Shots of drugs and bullets kill victims one by one till a NYPD detective and her friend uncover secrets that prove to be fatal. Detective Natalie Alkoff and Adam Markkula, estranged friends who later meet as Natalie acts as Adam's protective detail. The work together to solve one of the biggest cases that the NYPD has ever come across.
