Author's Note

Let me tell you a story. Say we lived in a world where every person is born with a clock on their wrist. This clock, easily concealed by bracelets or the like, counts down the days you meet your soulmate. A wonderful, joyous, lucky thing it is to have!

I should also say that there are a few bugs in the system. We won't discuss them now, you'll find out soon enough. But just one tip: if you see anyone walking down the street, a cluster of bracelets or bangles or bands covering just one wrist, I would advise you not to ask about it.
