Chapter 1

Eight year old Ryder was in love with her. He confessed his sweet little feelings to her just before she left for New York. He didn't want her to leave just. He wanted her to always be with him forever. To watch cartoons together. Play games together. He wanted to sing for her. Write songs about her. He wanted to build a castle for them. He would be the King and she would be his Queen. They would have a big ice cream parlor with all the flavors. And he would let her eat all of his ice cream too. He promised. He wanted to live with her. Marry her and have little babies with her. 𝐹𝒾𝓋𝑒. Spend their lives together. After all she belonged with him. But was it too late?

After all he was her bully. He would annoy the hell out of her. He would make her cry. He made sure she had no friends to be with. He would hurt the people who tried to be friends with her. Everyone. He found out ways to make her life miserable. He had succeeded. She hated him. It was too late.

After 9 years when she returned to Broomfield. Things were different. She had a perfect boyfriend. She liked him. Things were okay!

Ryder had grown to be the most handsome, popular boy in high school. He was a player. He had a bunch of fun friends to be with, an amazing father. He was good in studies. And, what else do you need? Love? Gee thanks. He would rather be with different girls casually than to fall for 'the one' and shatter his heart. Again.
