Chapter 1- Work Shift

Heather, a half-elf as basic as they come, gets caught up in a revolution she wants no part in. She knows that Pures (elves, humans) don't treat Mutts like her the way they should. Everybody and their cousin knows that. That doesn't mean things need changing. It just means that Mutts should keep in line and walk carefully.
Or maybe this revolution idea has some merit...
With the companionship of fellow Mutts, Heather learns more about her world than she wants to, gets caught up in more crimes than she could think to, and makes sacrifices nobody should have to.
