Anise Green comes from a long line of executioners. She is the basket girl of the Tower Green in 1536. It is her job to catch the heads her father removes and that is all she has ever known. When the time comes for her hero, Anne Boleyn, to be executed, will she have the strength to carry the heavy weight down Tower Hill?
