I wanted to write a One Shot story but wasn't sure what to write about. I've started watching Heartland again for the 6th time and noticed that Tim is quite a Bully but with words and shouting, but he does love his Daughter's very much and would do anything to keep them safe. It made me realise that I wish my father had been more like that but without the Bully side. My Father was a real bully and even though I'm in my mid 60s he still left his mark. Being used as a punchbag was an every day occasion. But he always came up with an excuse for any injuries, like I fell off my bike or such. The facial cuts and bruises only happened if he'd been drinking, normally it was below the neck line. Me and my mum were the targets but back in the 60s and 70s there wasn't the help there is today.. So in this AU story I have changed Tim to be like my father. It starts after Amy comes home from Europe, but Amy with Lou's help explains to Jack and Lisa about Ahmed and what he's doing . I hope you like it.
