Chapter 1

Meet Gwen Turner. Recently, she turned 40. She and her friends are the worst bowlers at their ladies-only wine and bowling league. She's content with her life until she falls for her neighbor, Nate Bai, a single father who happens to be the object of another woman's attention. Suddenly Gwen's rival bowling competitor raises the stakes of their Sunday nights by making a bet with Gwen that only the winner of the tournament gets to pursue Nate. Gwen is out to turn her team of underachieving midlife friends into winners in order to win Nate's heart, but a complication arises when Gwen's adorably hot gynecologist takes an interest in her. The question is, if she wins the bet, will she still want Nate?
