Malory was born with a scar on her face, and thus was despised by other fairies, the only person who was kind to her was her brother Liebe. Malory was assigned to save Japez from the evil witch Cecilia.

On Japez 18th birthday Cecilia attacks Japez but was stopped by Malory. Although Japez' life was spared he was marked as a sacrifice to Amory, the leader of one of the nine great cult.

Malory starts living with Japez to protect him and unravel the mystery behind him being able to see her, because no human can see a fairy.
