"Bloom for me, little rose," he says opening a deadly smirk. His greys eyes cold, burning me like ice even from afar. And I feel frozen, not being able to speak, but my eyes burn him right back, staring dangerously at my kidnapper. "Oh?! Are you going to be difficult? That is fine, I like my girls feisty, it is so much more fun when I have to teach them manners." He tilts his head, his mint breath close to my face as his hand brings the sharp knife towards my chest. And, just like a gardener cutting the horns from a rose, he slices my right shoulder. I feel a sticky liquid running down my clavicle and a shriek fills the air around us. Only after a minute, I realize the scream was actually coming from me. It is still coming from me. And I can't stop screaming - I don't believe I will ever be able to stop. ---------- Lily Jareau was tired, bleeding and in pain, her lungs seemed like they were going to explode and her muscles were all begging for the young girl to stop - but she couldn't. She would not let herself be killed and be left laying lifeless in a fresh grave without a fight. So, she run, and she escaped the dark woods. However, her nightmare was only beginning. The murderer disappeared soon after, never being caught. 10 years went on, and Lily is a famous journalist now, living in the big city and hiding her scarred body. Until she gets an invitation for her high school reunion and her need for answers makes her go back to the small town. The killer is still out there and Lily may be heading straight to one of his new traps. But the girl survived in the past thanks to her stubbornness, she simply can't stop now.
