The Greek philosopher Socrates once said, "From the deepest desires often come deadliest hate." Tom Riddle couldn't couldn't agree more. Desire is an insatiable quench for one's wanted; when such emotion is felt at its peak, we can't help but place it above all and try to fulfill that yearning. However, as mortals, we are entitled: we can only maintain an emotion like desire for a specific period of time before our ego intervenes. Unless the source of our desire is not in our hands, then that kind of emotion fades away, and transforms into what is known as hatred. Hatred emanates terrible notions, and if one acts on those notions, terrible undoings. Control over emotions is the only way to keep the desire at bay. Really unfortunate... Tom Riddle had never felt such emotions, let alone control them.
