Kwon Min Ji was an abandoned kid until a kind grandma came and took her in as her own. She grew up with Dal Mi's family, learning the basics of entrepreneurship from Dal Mi's dad. She meets Han Ji Pyeong and becomes good friends with him, but due to an unfortunate event and a sacrificing choice, they go their separate ways and never see each other until 12 years later.
