Sophie is a 16 year old Junior in high school who comes from an abusive family. Her father has been watching her and her four siblings since her mother died after her little brother was born. Her father raised them on strict religious (and abusive) beliefs. She has had to repress who she really is, in order to survive the war zone that her house is. Her life, and her viewpoint on the world is flipped upside down when she comes in close contact with 18 year old Marth, who is with a new girl every week, who has some secrets and scars of her own.
