Author's note

It started as a battle, for freedom, against tyranny. And became something greater, it broke so many. There was never peace, it was just an illusion.

You let me suffer, yet then you loved like no other. I guess we were too naïve to see, how broken this place can be.

The sun is rising on the meadows, her colours remind me of fire. How in the wind, the flames blow, we were enemies just prior.

The eyes of evergreen, belonged to the villain. Now they're soothing me, 𝙄'𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙧.
