Description

"I know you want me to give you money and I did not commit any offence so I will not pay a fine, I am a lawyer and I know my rights, I will take you to court if you are not careful. You are supposed to protect us from robbers but instead of protecting us, you are stealing from us. Don't you feel ashamed?" This book is about the current "End SARS" protest in Nigeria. SARS stands for Special Anti-robbery squad which was a Nigerian Police Force that was formed in the late twentieth century and cancelled in the year two thousand and twenty. This force was supposed to be in charge of robbery and a few other crimes but they robbed the citizens, harassed and killed some of them. I believe the government is responsible for this because they did not provide enough facilities for the police force which led to them forcefully taking money from citizens to feed themselves. Read this book to find out how I feel about the current SARS protest.
