This is an AU, about Klaroline. Caroline is 18, but she has this pen pal. Her pen pal is Rebekah Mikaelson, and they have been writing each other for 3 years. Rebekah lives in New Orleans. Caroline lives in Mystic Falls. They started writing to each other because their schools paired them together, to be pen pals with another student from hundreds of miles away, from a different school. Caroline's mother died when she was 17.

What happens if she moves to New Orleans? What happens if she falls for her best friends brother? What happens when she discovers secrets about him? Are they good or bad secrets? Will she still love him?
