Description
One hundred and thirty years after the Shinsengumi's eradication of the rasetsu, Kodo's research lives on and falls into the hands of a curious genealogist. She continues his research and creates the modern-day Water of Life, and a new breed of supersoldier is born. Murdered for her discoveries, our scientist leaves behind her daughter, Elena, who is now thrust into the middle of a deadly power struggle over her mother's research. To complicate things further, she soon finds herself transported back in time to Kyoto, Japan, where the Shinsengumi are alive, and the original Water of Life research is taking place. The fateful arrival of Elena sets in motion a chain of events that changes the lives of everyone present that night.
