Intertwined can be defined as twisted together, or closely connected in a way that cannot easily be separated. Like when you twist two pieces of rope around each other and you can no longer easily untangle them.

Addison's single year of life with 'the sisters' has been strung together by the loose threads of experience created from her time in the maze. Yet it is not enough to break the strings of her past; The part of her life in which is mysterious to even herself.

Twisted and knotted, Addison becomes further entangled with the life of WCKD's making. Permanently bonded with the other subjects through their shared experiences, she will come to understand both groups A and B alike. And eventually, their lives will be so intertwined that she won't be able to leave him behind.
