Prologue

The blizzard of the year turns 17-year-old Kiara Madden's life upside down when she witnesses a tragic accident. Closing off the world, only one person can help her through the emotions she's facing, Casper James. Through Casper's friendship, she's able to process the accident and her emotions. Slowly letting the outside world back in she learns quickly that it's the shadows or the living. Can she choose or will she lose herself altogether?
