Vera is an autistic girl, who wishes to be loved in life. She's been friends with the boy she's loved for years. Until three years later, she finds out he loves her too.
Then he moves away the next day, without saying goodbye.
Until she has to move to Los Angeles, California, after her parents divorced a month after her friend moved. She transfers to the new school, Xavier High, and meets Maxwell.
