Polaris used to be a goddess everyone wanted to wish upon. But when corruption and desire and longing washed over her, her wishes became curses. At first, the curses seemed like wishes. Masked under happiness and bliss, but over time the wish turns into a curse, something evil and hateful.
--When Kassandra's father makes a wish for his little girl to grow up to be gorgeous, important, and loved among all, Polaris becomes jealous. A girl prettier than she? Never. So she curses the little girl named Kassandra. She would be beautiful, but her beauty would lead others astray.
