PROLOGUE

Gia, an heiress of a known hospital in Manila, is about to take her nursing licensure examination despite her parents' disapproval. Living out of her comfort zone, and without the comfort of her friends, she still tries to keep up with their expectations.

Aiden, a Medicine student and a scholar of Cordovez Foundation, doesn't care about anyone's thoughts about him because he only has one goal: to become the best heart surgeon in the Philippines.

With Aiden's help, Gia begins to live independently and more freely.

But what happens when the rock she's been holding on to turns out to be a sharp blade that lacerates her heart? Will she be able to suture it back in place to stop it from bleeding?
