1. The Forever Desert

Braving the desert wasn't exactly what they had in mind when they decided to leave. They'll do it, though, if it means being free.

A group of former slaves must cross the desert after their successful escape. With only their painful memories and the stars to guide them, they continue on, if only to survive another day away from the control of their former masters. Despite the danger of the desert, they wouldn't wish to be anywhere else. They finally have freedom, and though it may taste bitter now, it is so much sweeter than anything they've ever tasted in their lives.
