Penny, the first daughter of an unmarried couple goes on a journey with a 19 year old boy named Jack Harkness to find what's happened to all the stars in the sky. But on her journey she finds out who her father really is, what happens to her mother in the future, and if she'll find a secret love for Jack, her faithful companion who assists her on her journey across what used to be the stars.
