The year is 2038, and Quell Croyle is lonely. Pathetically lonely. So he does the only sane thing an emotionally-starved, thirty-six year old man can do: he buys a sex robot.

In a wild and seemingly random twist of events, this one decision thrusts Quell into the dangerous world of drugs and violence. Along with his best friend Jerrika, an addict with an anger problem, Quell struggles to fight against this new life while also dealing with the phantoms of his past.

Quell only knows one thing for certain - the future is a scary place , especially when you're sober.
