1st Petal

He loves me, he loves me not. The beautiful colored petals flow and dance their way to the floor as soon as they were plucked and gently released from our fingertips. A small gesture each of us might have done at one point in our lives.
I, however, found myself doing this multiple times. Can you blame me? It all started with that one sweet note he gave to me on Valentine's Day. From then on, I always looked forward to the flowers and the small love note he would give me.
That was until he revealed that they were never from him.
