A story of a young college girl name Yuan Xuanli, having a crush with a good looking and popular handsome guy, her classmates Zhao Xifeng. They aren't close with each other, but a knot tassel which has a magical power, connected them both, and they met through a dream, a dream of going back to an old era through the books they are reading, which connecting them together in the present time. Meanwhile Zhang Ding Xue, her old friend from the past come again in front of Xuanli after many years part aways, but sadly Xuanli memories about him fades away after an accident happen to her in the past.
