Elena Smoak. A former army ranger and now one of the best FBI profilers with the BAU. She returned to Chicago to fight a battle she didn't think she'd win and also joined CPD's Intelligence Unit alongside her best friends, Jay Halstead and Mouse, and her uncle, Sergeant Hank Voight.
She connected with Jay in a way she never thought and has never been happier until tragedy struck and her cousin, who she called a brother, was murdered.
Guilt-ridden and still mourning, Elena returns to work but struggles to work with Hank following recent events.
