Rose Timsdale is shy, clumsy, intelligent (yes, she is a nerd) and dreams of the perfect romance. Her life isn't the best. Having to face her parent's divorce and living with an alcoholic mother has her stressed out. At some point in her life she underwent self harm, but as they say, not all scars fade away. Will she ever find the romance she dreamed of?

Evan Patterson just moved into town and many persons do not like him already. They don't know anything about this self kept loner but even if they wanted to, he wouldn't share. Evan has a past... A past which makes him who he is today. But, what will happen when he meets a cute and innocent girl like Rose?
