The story's narrator: "Once upon a time, in a land far far away. In a kingdom not known to the modern world there once was a queen and a knight.... But first, let us stop here before we begin our journey. This is not a fairytale ending with 'and they lived happy ever after' this is a story of a heartbroken queen, a misguided knight, war, death, destruction, and perhaps something more. Our journey begins after the " War of all Kingdoms". The Kingdom of RiverNight sought to rebuild after coming out as the victor. The war tore through the lands leaving nothing spared. Many young men and a few women joined the Kingdom of RiverNight's army to send money back home for their families to survive. It was dark times. Very dark indeed. The Queen of RiverNight was said to be the cruelest dark ruler of all. She was said to have mystic powers. Powers that she used to defeat her enemies and end the War. Powers that she used to rule her kingdom in fear. The Queen was known for ripping the hearts out of people's chest, killing them with a wave of her hand. The Queen was said to have a darken heart, never able to love another. Perhaps the Queen's Knight might be able to save more than just those on the battlefield, but to save the Queen's heart. It will indeed be quite the journey. One of adventure, dragons, magic, war, and heartache on a quest to find love or to escape the past. Can the queen forgive her past? Can the knight overcome her ways? Can two powerful women fall in love during a time of such darkness in a "man's world"?
