Dan got into a big fight with his parents and so he uses his powers in front of them and then opens a portal and runs away and ends up in a city and meets a man named Sam Flynn.

They then go on an adventure to a digital world known as the Grid.

And when trouble happens they have to get to the portal to leave before the army gets to their world and conquers it.
