Chapter One

When twenty-three year old Emma Gilbert moves into a community of floating homes on the Columbia River, she doesn't know what to expect. Grieving the loss of her son and reeling from her unexpected divorce, all Emma wants is a fresh start. With her curious next-door-neighbor, Emma begins to open up and learn to love life again. When an unexpected truth is revealed, Emma is faced with a choice. Will she choose to love life or revert back to how life was before?
