Description
When Han is forced to leave his home in Seongnam, South Korea to move to Fort Collins, Colorado with his mother, the very last thing on his mind is love. He and his mother fled their home in order to get away from his abusive father, who constantly harassed himself and his mother for money and abused them both when it was refused to him. They come to Colorado to live with Han's uncle, who moved from S. Korea to start his own business and is now the successful CEO of his own company, and vowes to protect his sister and nephew from further harm. Han, having had to leave his friends and remaining family behind, only has one thing on his mind when he is enrolled in his remaining year and a half at the local High School; Keep his head down and survive long enough to graduate, then fly back home to attend the prestigious college of his dreams with his best friend. There is a handsome and unusually kind Football Captain in his grade, however, who unintentionally throws a wrench into these plans with his perfect smile and gentle demeanor as he invites himself into Han's life without warning. Han will have to decide if this boy is worth altering the course of his future for, or if he will remain true to himself and return home, where he will proceed with his carefully mapped out future for himself.
