Prologue

During a police investigation in a large warehouse, biologist Rachel Carter discovers the unsettling truth about a strange tree which grows in the basement. While she gets more and more involved in the case by Inspector Stevens, who is pushing her to find the final clue to it's origins, Rachel begins to realize that there is something terribly wrong with that tree.
