Many families were left without loved ones after VE day and Poppy day,not even Kingsman being immune to that. A surprise visit in the shop during the day and a letter from social services alerted Merlin to one relative left unharmed,a teenager who planned to be quite the handful for her new 'Uncle'.
Juggling a national spy organisation and a stroppy teen isn't exactly what Merlin wanted but he was glad of his Newfounded Family,no matter how bizarre it was.
