Description
The Lion Guard return to their home, the Pride Lands, only to find out their true place in the Circle of Life is the Tree of Life. They go back and the Lion Guard leader, Kion, marries the leader of the Night Pride and Queen of the Tree, Rani. Everyone is overjoyed, especially Fuli, one of Kion's closest friends. With her new position as part of the Daylight Guardians, she vows to herself to protect the Tree of Life with the same amount of strength and respect she had when protecting the Pride Lands. For moons, all was well and peaceful, until one fateful day, tragedy struck. Rani went missing and all that was left of her was her blood staining a lake. She was assumed dead, devastating everyone, especially Kion, and leaving their litter of cubs down one parent. As Fuli tries her best to help her friend raise the motherless cubs, she and Kion grow close and soon start to see each other more than just teammates and good friends, though Fuli tries to deny them while dealing with her own growing, conflicted relationship with her mate, Azaad. Then one day, a pride of rogue lions come to the Tree of Life and Kion welcomes them in. When Kion begins to grow close with the pride's leader, not only does Fuli grow jealous but also begins to grow suspicious of the pride, which eventually leads to the truth of Rani's dreadful fate...
