Elena went on to New Jersey, to see her unwell step sister Annabelle. The thought bugs her, that her dad left her alone years ago, not looking back once. But Annabelle and Elena shared a good sister relationship. And for it's sake, Elena hardened up, and went to see Annabelle. Expecting her life to get worse, rather it turns around. He turns it around.
