Two months after the events in London, Kaitlyn Summers is back in the United States and living in Washington, D.C. under the protection of S.H.I.E.L.D. Just two days before her fifteenth birthday, Director Fury is unexpectedly shot and presumed to be dead. Questions arise when a mysterious figure starts to hunt Kaitlyn down and she is forced to go on the run. She is reunited with Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Black Widow who help her and protect her from the dangers of the government. They soon find an ally in Sam Wilson aka Falcon when a conspiracy threatens to take down S.H.I.E.L.D. and eventually the world.
