She had many plans this year: to get good grades, focus on her studies, and make it epic. She's a shy, jealous, and awkward girl who came from a dark background. She was never perfect, but in the deepest parts of her mind she considered herself perfectly imperfect. During a night, when she was convinced by a friend to join her at a party she meets a boy. Not that cliche hot boy, the mysterious bad boy, nor like any other guy she had ever met. She was terrified-- not only by her insecurities, but also by her previous heartbreak. He was a guy with deep blue eyes, a kind personality, and said things that drew her in. Can she open up? Or will she be too slow before things come crashing down-- before she does? Mady's trust is tested against sacrifices, lies, and betrayals in this story of heartbreak and love. Slightly mature: medium language with no explicit sexual content besides kissing and/or making out. It never goes further than that.
