Mackenzie grew up full of happiness but little did people know that, that was just a front, through her teenage years things started to her dark, she was bullied daily and developed a eating disorder; not only that she was diagnosed with depression, she self-harmed but that was one thing no one ever found out about, she wore long sleeves all year round no matter the weather. As Mackenzie hit adulthood things didn't get any easier for her, she was still fighting a loosing battle and didn't know what to do, she decided to take up writing, she wrote stories, about anything and everything, it was one way to express herself too. Five years later Mackenzie is still writing but she's setting out on a new journey in life, she's about to move half way across the world to live in Chicago, America. She is going to move in with her aunt, uncle and two cousins until she finds her feet in a brand new country and city. However a fresh start doesn't always mean getting away from the past, Mackenzie finds that out as she collapses in the street one day after taking a dodgy drug, she wanted to forget the mess her life had been but that resulted in her collapsing.
