Mr. George Mason, sole proprietor of Rushford, is perfectly content with his parties and outings, and his empty house at the end of the night. That is, until a quiet visitor with a warm smile arrives from London and catches his eye. It won't be long before Miss Weston must return home, and Mr. Mason is beginning to think his own home is emptier than it should be.
