Description
Charlie has been held captive since he could remember, his "father" running tests on him since before he could crawl. Now he's rescued by the avengers as they discover the top secret HYDRA base after the capture of an agent of HYDRA. Charlie doesn't understand why these people are taking him away from his "home" and he gets upsets... which cause his powers to inflame and catch most of the room on fire. He's blasted in the chest by Tony Stark's blasters, the fire dies down instantly. Once Charlie wakes up, he finds himself in an unusual place, and he's terrified of the world. But Steve Rogers is determined to gain his trust, and he never gives up on anyone. Charlie starts to gain feelings for the super soldier, which just confuses him even more, but Charlie's figuring out this new world...
